Sentinel 2

Satellites Sentinel 2 are a constellation of twin Earth observation satellites  (Sentinel 2a and Sentinel2B) developed by the ESA as part of the Copernicus program to carry out land observations and support services such as agriculture and forestry monitoring, land cover classification, disaster management and more. They have been manufactured by Airbus DS and are being operated by the European Space Agency. Sentinel 2 carries a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor at a 10-meter barrel resolution with a field of view of 290 km.

Landsat 8

Landsat 8 is the eighth and newest satellite from the Landsat program. The satellite collects land and growth data used mainly in agriculture, education, business, science, and government. The Landsat 8 is a collaboration mission between NASA and the US Geological Survey (USGS).  It carries two sensors: a multi-spectral sensor and a thermal one. It provides seasonal coverage every 16 days for any point in the world at a spatial resolution of 15-30 meters (Achromatic).
